Troubleshooting
Refer to the following chart if the air conditioner operates abnormally. This may save time and unnecessary expenses.
PROBLEM SOLUTION
The air cleaner with
humidication function
does not work at all.
Check power status and then operate the air cleaner with humidication function again.
Plug in or switch on the circuit breaker and then operate the air cleaner with
humidication function again.
Check the power socket and use another socket and then operate the appliance again.
Check if water is in the water bottle. After adding water, operate the appliance again.
Check if the front panel is not attached and then attach the front panel properly.
[Water Supply] lamp is not
lit when the water is run
short of.
Check whether water still remains in the tray.
Remove water that is in the tray and operate the appliance. Then check whether the
[Water Supply] lamp is lit in 3~5 minutes.
HEPA lter or
deodorization lter reset
display is on continuously.
Check if you pressed the [
] button and the [ ] button at the same time for more
than 3 seconds.
Press the [ ] button and the [ ] button for 3 seconds until you hear a beep sound.
Odor is generated. Check if you haven’t cleaned the appliance for a long time or used stale water.
Clean the water bottle or the inside of the appliance.
Check if the odor is similar to that of chlorine element.
The odor may be from the chlorine element contained in the water.
(Place the water outside for about one day and then supply the water again.)
Check if the dust lter is dirty and then clean the dust lter.
Check if the appliance is running in a smoky area.
The performance of S-Plasma ion will be less eective in a smelly or smoky area.
Ventilate the indoor air and operate the appliance again.
Check if the odor is generated from HEPA lter or deodorization lter and then change the
two lters.
Cannot supply water. Check if the water bottle is properly tted into the water bottle box.
Breeze is generated but
the moisture is not.
Check if the humidication mode is o. If the humidication display is o, the humidication
function will not work, so after checking it, change it to the humidication mode.
Since this appliance is an evaporative air humid purier, the vapor is invisible.
Even if you cannot see the vapor from the appliance, do not worry about product
malfunction.
Breeze is not generated. Check if the dust lter is blocked by dust and then clean the dust lter.
Moisture is less generated. Check if you used underground water and then change it to tap water.
Check if the water in the water bottle is freezing or too cold. Use water ofC~15°C after
10~15minutes.
Strange noise is generated. Check if the disk is properly equipped with the tray or check the fan motor.
It can be the sound generated when the machine in normal operation.
Check if white powder has formed at the disk or tray. Buy a new purier lter from the
service center and change it. Clean the disk or tray on a regular basis. Especially, if there is
white powder around the groove of disk gear, noise may be generated so clean it with soft
brush.
Error is indicated.
Check if
are displayed.
The appliance has a certain problem, so contact the service center.
