Chapter 8 Measurements and Calculations
Limited Trace
This is a basic measurement that is only available in Spectral Doppler mode. Specify two bars
on a Spectral Doppler image to calculate the mean velocity between the bars, RI and Pulsatility
Index(PI).
1. Select Limited Trace on the monitor or touch screen. Use the trackball and the Set button on
the control panel to select two bars.
2. When the measurement has been taken, the result is shown on the screen.
