Chapter 3 Starting Diagnosis
Worklist Search
Perform a search by connecting to the DICOM Modality Worklist server in the hospital network.
NOTE: Worklist Search is only available when DICOM is set up. To set up the Worklist server, go to
Setup > DICOM screen. Refer to ‘DICOM Settings’ in ‘Chapter 7. Utilities’.
1. Select the Worklist button on the touch screen.
2. After entering at least one item out of the Patient ID, Last Name, Worklist Number (Accession #),
Procedure ID, Exam Date, and/or name of the equipment being used for the exam (AE Title), press
Search. The list of patients who match the criteria will be displayed.
Tips!
Pressing items such as Date/Time or Patient Name will sort entries into alphabetical or numerical
order for the selected criteria.
Select Today, Past Week, or Past Month as the Exam Date.
3. To apply information on the selected patient to the system, press OK after selecting a patient from
the patient list.
