Conversion Recording

You can convert the signal recorded on a tape to another format on

a second tape.

1 Connect the RCA Audio/Video cable to the input on the front of the

Samsung VCR (SV-5000W)

2 Insert the tape to record.

3 Connect the other end of the RCA Audio/Video cable to the output

connectors of another VCR (see page 39).

4 If you wish to convert from a tape recorded on NTSC to a PAL

recorded tape, insert the NTSC tape into the other VCR.

5 Press the INPUT button on the remote control to select the L1

input.

Result

: The display panel shows L1.

6 Press the PAL output system button on the front panel to select

the PAL system.

Result

: The display panel shows PAL.

7 Press the PLAY button of the other VCR.

8 Press the REC button of the Samsung VCR at least one second.

Result

: appears on the display panel, and recording begins.
